The powerful continually institutionalize their advantages. This is true across many forms of social domination: economic exploitation, White supremacy, hetero-patriarchy, and beyond. Today the world faces unparalleled inequality and ecological destruction. Emancipatory movements abound. Unfortunately, struggling in a silo is not enough. As democracy erodes, how can complex and cross cutting oppression be understood in order to build a transcendent, truly emancipatory movement of movements?

We partner with scholars working with movements around the world. We contribute to the intellectual foment at the heart of a global movement of emancipatory movements in two ways:

Partners conduct rigorous empirical analysis in collaboration with emancipatory movements to cut through obfuscations and illuminate fundamental interests, structural challenges, and avenues for liberation.

Articulation

We transcend the isolation of siloed movements, sponsoring convening and deliberation across movements to articulate transformative alliances.
